Education in Conflict and Crisis

Conflict and crisis situations often disrupt efforts to educate children. School and other education settings provide an important sense of normalcy and routine for young learners experiencing crisis. They also offer an opportunity to keep reaching for a more hopeful future. Children who have missed years of school due to ongoing crises may need more support to catch up on missed learning.

IDP has worked with partner organizations such as Rescue Committee International and others, with funding support from USAID in Nigeria and elsewhere.
